இரண்டு தேர்வுகளின் தேர்வுத்தாளும் 200 வினாக்கள், 300 மதிப்பெண்கள் கொண்டது. பொது அறிவு, திறனறிவு, தமிழ் ஆகிய மூன்று பிரிவுகளின் உட்தலைப்புகளும் வினா எண்ணிக்கையும் ஒன்றே; பொது அறிவின் தரம் மட்டுமே வேறுபடுகிறது.

- அறிவியல் அறிவு :- அறிவியல் அறிவு மற்றும் அறிவியல் உணர்வு, பகுத்தறிவு, பொருள் உணராமல் கற்றலும் கருத்தறிந்து கற்றலும், கடந்தகாலம்-நிகழ்காலம்-எதிர்காலம் பற்றிய புரிதல் கொள்வதற்கான ஒரு கருவியாக அறிவியல்.
- இயற்பியல் :- பேரண்டத்தின் இயல்பு, பொது அறிவியல் விதிகள், இயக்கவியல், பருப்பொருளின் பண்புகள், விசை, இயக்கம் & ஆற்றல், மின்னியல், காந்தவியல், ஒலி, ஒளி, வெப்பம், அணுக்கரு இயற்பியல், லேசர், மின்னணுவியல் & தகவல் தொடர்பியல்.
